Ehtesham Ul Haq, M.D. FACC, FSCAI . Cardiologist
Dr. Ehtesham Ul Haq attended King Edward Medical University, Pakistan for his medical school degree. He did Internal Medicine residency (July 2009 to June 2012) at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY followed by a one year fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure at University of Washington, Seattle. Then he joined University of South Alabama, Mobile, AL for a General Cardiology fellowship (July 2013 to June 2016). Subsequently, Dr. Haq worked as a general cardiologist for 3 years in Eastern Kentucky. He did a one year fellowship in Interventional Cardiology (July 2019 to June 2020) and joined Apex Cardiology in July 2020 after finishing his interventional training. He always had a strong interest in research and has several publications. Dr. Haq was awarded with the "Best Resident Teacher" award during his residency training.
Dr. Haq is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. He is board eligible for Advanced Heart Failure. In his free time, Dr. Haq enjoys spending time with his family and friends and watching movies.
